To supply all of ICs in a tray containing ICs of the last fractions of a lot without stopping an automatic handler by mounting a detecting means for detecting the last tray of one lot or the like.
A detecting means for detecting the last tray 1 of one lot, for example, a tray existence sensor 9C is mounted. That is, the trays 1 stacked on an elevator 8 are raised until the uppermost tray 1 is detected by a supply position sensor 9A, and only the uppermost tray 1 is separated by entering a separation claw 5 into the uppermost tray 1 and lowering the elevator 8. When upper ends of a plurality of remained lower trays 1 are detected by a standby position sensor 9B, the elevator 8 is stopped for standby. When all the trays 1 on the elevator 8 are taken out, the tray existence sensor 9C is cut off by a slit board 9D, and it is recognized that the tray 1 on the separation claw 5 is the last tray 1 of the lot.
