Abstract:
To provide novel automatic injection devices for drug delivery, with a multifunctional drive control mechanism incorporated therein.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an automatic injector adapted to receive a cartridge and having a distal end and a proximal end, which cartridge includes a barrel, a needle, and a plunger assembly including a plunger seal, and defines a longitudinal axis, the automatic injector comprising a housing, a cartridge transmission body, a plunger transmission body, an elongated drive device, and a single drive mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
