To provide a technique for changing or adding journalization requirements or journalization methods without changing a program when changing or adding the process of journalizing slip data.
An automatic journalization process for performing the work of journalizing slips includes a step for reading an external definition rule file in which the journalization requirements showing the requirements of the journalization process and journalization methods showing the contents of the journalization process are registered and for retaining in a storage device the journalization requirements and the journalization methods registered in the external definition rule file; and a step for reading pre-journalization slip data registered in a pre-journalization slip data file and retaining the data in the storage device. The process further includes a step for journalizing the pre-journalization slip data using a journalization method retained in a pair with a journalization requirement, if the pre-journalization data retained in the storage device meet the journalization requirement, and for retaining the data in the storage device as journalized slip data.
