Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic library capable of significantly reducing power consumption during standby time.SOLUTION: The automatic library comprises: a control target appliance group 100 including a stacker crane, a delivery lorry, and a shipping lorry; a system management machine 48 monitoring power source opening/closing parts of the respective control target appliances and an operation state of the control target appliance group 100, outputting a shipping command signal, and a delivery command signal with an operation state signal of the control target appliance group when there are shipping request and delivery request, and outputting a power-up command signal and a power-blocking command signal to the control target appliance required for shipping or delivery; and a power source control part 58 corresponding to the power-up command signal and the power-blocking command signal outputted from the system management machine 48, and performing opening/closing control of the power source opening/closing parts of the only control target appliance which is required for shipping or delivery. The system management machine 48 outputs the power-blocking command signal corresponding to only the control target appliance whose standby time is lapsed prescribed time, among the control target appliances which are in a standby state.
