Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic liquid quantity adjusting device which does not cause an erroneous detection, can vary the set quantity and can adjust the liquid quantity with high accuracy by using a CCD camera as a liquid level sensor and adjusting the liquid quantity by combining said camera and a programmable controller. CONSTITUTION:A camera controller 7 processes a video signal from a CCD camera 6 and gives a liquid level address to a programmable controller 8. To the controller 8, a set liquid quantity which is adjusted in an adjusting tank 1 is inputted in advance, and also, data which has tested in advance a relative relation to the liquid quantity in the tank 1 against the liquid level address is inputted in advance. Therefore, the inner capacity in the tank 1 can be measured from a position of a meniscus M formed on a liquid level of a level gauge 4. The controller 8 compares the liquid level address which is inputted from the controller 7 with the set liquid quantity (address) and the test data, provides an output to an operating part in accordance with its result and operates a valve 10, a buzzer 11 and a motor 12, and also, outputs an alarm and final liquid quantity data to a computer part through an interface.
