Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically feed a long member having a curvature to the next process by a robot.
SOLUTION: An automatic long member feeding equipment used in carrying out the inspection of the component of a steel wire 18 to be used as a cable for a suspension bridge comprises a stocker installation part 10 and a teaching robot 20, and three stockers 11 are installed on the stocker installation part 10. Each stocker 11 is fixed in an inclined manner at the angle of 45° relative to the perpendicular plane. A motor is fitted below a base plate 12, and the base plate 12 can be rotated horizontally around the center axis by driving the motor. Each stocker is faced opposite to the teaching robot 20 successively by the rotation of each 120°. A worker can achieve the work to insert a wire in each storage part of the stockers which are not faced opposite to the teaching robot 20.
