Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable automatic holding of information storage media such as floppy disks and CD disks by providing a media storage case feeder, device to open/close the lid of the media storage case feeder, and media holder.
CONSTITUTION: Types of media fed consecutively from a media feeder 1 are identified by a media identifier 2, and required media are selectively taken out by a media take-out 3 according to the identification. Type of media storage cases taken out consecutively from a media storage case feeder 4 are identified by a media storage case identifier 5, and storage cases required for media storage are taken out by a media storage case take-out 6. A lid opening/closing device 7 opens the lid of a storage case, and a media storage device 8 loads media into a storage case. Then, a sealer 9 seals a storage case filled with media. The storage cases are marked with specified prints, packed in box and discharged by a discharger 11.
