Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accelerate repeated processing by automatically switching a bank each time memory access is performed without designating any bank number in a program.
CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with an automatic memory bank switching circuit 1-1, microprocessor 1-2 and memory 1-3, the automatic memory bank switching circuit 1-1 is provided with plural bank registers for storing the memory bank numbers, means for switching the outputs of these bank registers each time the memory access is performed and register for storing the number of valid registers among these bank registers and with the number of valid registers as the cycle of repetition, the memory bank numbers are successively selected and supplied to the memory.
