Abstract:

To provide an automatic meter reading unit capable of performing guidance on countermeasures corresponding to the state of a gas meter at inexpensive costs.

The automatic meter reading unit 5 for transmitting meter reading information from the gas meter 1 to a centralized monitoring center 7 is provided in a front panel with both an LCD display part 45 and a guidance display part 5a arranged adjacently to the LCD display part 45 for displaying a plurality of letter messages 5a1-5a5 for explaining countermeasures corresponding to the state of the gas meter 1. A display screen of the LCD display part 45 displays an indication mark 45a for selectively indicating a letter message corresponding to the state of the gas meter 1 from among the plurality of letter messages 5a1-5a5.
