PURPOSE: To obtain an automatic opening-closing device of simple structure by opening and closing a press member by shifting the center of gravity of the press member.
CONSTITUTION: As output shaft 9 is turned counterclockwise by motor 8 with press member 7 closed as shown in the figure, pinion 10 turns in the same direction to move motor 8 backward along rack 11 and when it moves beyond shaft 6, the center of gravity of press member 7 is considered to be shifted backward, so that press member 7 will start opening on shaft 6 as a fylcrum by the weight of motor 8, etc. When the lower rear surface of press member 7 comes into contact with the upper edge of bevel 1b, the contact part functions as a fulcrum to open the member up to the state in the figure while pulling rod member 4 up. At this open position, the back end of support plate 12 touches stopper 15 to put the microswitch into operation, stopping the drive of motor 8.
