To provide automatic pckaging equipment for grain, etc., which can supply, open and hold a bag surely with a simple mechanism, and whose overall equipment is made small in size.
This automatic packaging equipment comprises a bag fetching mechanism 3 mounting a suction cup 31 on a piston rod expandable by a bag supplying cylinder 33 pivoted freely rotatablly on the upper part of a bag placing bed 2 for placing a plurality of bags, a charging hopper 6 for guiding grain measured by measuring equipment 7 and a pair of auxiliary shoots able to open and close freely set on the upper wall part of a fitting member 40 whose section is a roughly reversed U shape and is fixed on the upper part of a frame 1, a bag open mechanism whose fixed suction cup is mounted on the front side wall part of the fitting member 40, and a movable suction cup movable horizontally by a cylinder mounted on the back side wall part of the fitting member 40. Furthermore, for holding the bag, a bag holding mechanism 5 whose fixed gripper is mounted on the front side wall part of the fitting member 40, and a movable gripper horizontally movable by a cylinder 53 mounted on the back side wall part are provided.
