Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic packaging machine capable of easily adjusting the heights of a plurality of members to guide a packaging sheet.
SOLUTION: The automatic packaging machine 10 in which a packaging material consisting of a strip-like sheet 14 is folded at a center part 18 in the longitudinal direction of the packaging material, a pair of half pieces located on both sides of the center part overlap each other, and the packaging material is continuously guided substantially in the horizontal direction with the folded portion directed downward and an open end directed upwardly, comprises an elevating/lowering rail 78 arranged in the vertical direction, a plurality of lower guide parts 50-56 to guide the folded portion, a lower elevating/lowering mechanism 96 to integrally elevate/lower a plurality of the lower guide parts along the elevating/lowering rail, a heating unit 84 to heat the open end in a guided condition, and an upper elevating/lowering mechanism 98 to elevate/lower the heating unit along the elevating/lowering rail.
