PURPOSE: To match the cutting length of photosensitive paper continuously with the length of document by interlocking the selection switch of delay timer for varying the delay time with the function of means for switching the carry speed.
CONSTITUTION: Upon start of paper feed through insertion of document, a document trailing edge detector 4 is enabled to detect passing of the trailing edge of document 1 through said detector 4. Consequently, the trailing edge detection signal holding circuit 31 will rise to set CR oscillation timer 32 thus to provide delay time of CR oscillation timer 32 matched with the carrying speed through the resistance preset by the selection switch interlocked with selection of carrying speed. Upon elapse of said delay time, a cutter drive control circuit 30 will function to start rotation of rotary cutter with predetermined time lag, to reset said circuit 31 and timer 32. When increasing the number of selection switches, the delay time can be set finely against the variation of carrying speed resulting in fine matching between the cutting length of photosensitive paper and the length of document.
