PURPOSE: To prevent returned paper sheets from being creased or broken by mounting, on a paper feed roller shaft, a one-way clutch for transmitting only the paper sheet feed out direction to a roller and a paper sheets holding passage receiving those paper sheets returned from the business machine side.

CONSTITUTION: After completion of paper feed processing, a platen 4 is turned by a specific angle to feed a paper sheet 13 by the amount corresponding to one line of print in a printer 1, every time when one line is printed. And the rear edge of the paper sheet 13 is lastly released from a paper sheets feed passage 34, but if its front edge area is printed again after the rear edge of the paper sheet 13 is released from the paper sheets feed passage 34, a motor 61 is turned in reverse direction to turn the platen 4 in opposite direction so as to feed the paper sheet 13 in reverse direction. Hereby, however, the rear edge of the paper sheet 13 is not returned into the paper sheets feed passage 34 but led into a paper sheets housing passage 35 installed under the feed passage 34 along the reverse direction. Accordingly, since the paper sheet 13 in the paper sheets housing passage 35 is not disturbed in its advance, it can be creased or broken.
