A automatic pipe-end processing device is made up of a steel pipe rotating device for supporting a plastic coated steel pipe P horizontally and rotating it in the circumferential direction, a carriage 2 capable of moving along rails 8 laid parallel to the steel pipe rotating device, and three pipe-end processing units 3, 4, 5 installed on the carriage 2, that is, a brush unit 3 having a rotary wire brush 21 for scraping the pipe-end coating part of the plastic coated steel pipe P, a grinding unit 4 having a grinding flap wheel 26 for grinding and removing the remaining deposits on the surface of the pipe-end, and a taper cutter unit 5 for taper-cutting the end part of a plastic coating 40. The three units 3, 4, 5 are installed at needed intervals on the circumferential direction.
