PURPOSE: To select a disk accurately and to decrease the waiting time for play by providing an arc-shaped stocker which holds plural compact disks and plural players and having various automatic operations for play.

CONSTITUTION: A play instruction is first inputted to a controller. Then a motor 29 is driven to revolve a crown gear 27 via a gear head 30 and a pinion gear 31. Thus the pulses generated from a rotary encoder 33 are counted for detection both shift amount and the present position of a chuck. The motor 29 is stopped after the chuck is shifted to the position of a selected disk. Then the chuck and a chuck holder are fixed and the chuck is opened. Furthermore a motor 6 is driven to revolve the chuck up to its limit level. Then the disk is held. Thereafter the disk is loaded to a player 38 and 39 and played with combinations of said operations. The disk is taken out after play.
