Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of operator's key touches and to improve the efficiency of automatic programming by displaying a data setting picture immediately with a soft key and correcting it when an NC program is generated interactively. CONSTITUTION:Various data setting pictures are displayed on a graphic display and when data are inputted, the setting pictures are displayed automatically to generate the NC program. When the NC program which is already generated or setting data on a machining process which is already defined is corrected, the data of an item to be corrected by displaying a setting picture of data to be corrected by operating a corresponding soft key among soft keys specified in a picture being displayed without sending the pictures until the target data setting image plane. Therefore, the number of times of key operation, i.e. correction time is shortened to improve the programming efficiency.
