Abstract:
PURPOSE:To output NC data in an optional form and to enable display of a tool locus and calculation of the working time by entering NC data in the execution form and motion definition statements describing the tool motion in an automatic programming language. CONSTITUTION:When NC data in the execution form is used as it is to define the motion of the tool, an instruction word (AUXFUN) which declares that following data is NC data in the execution form is inserted before NC data in the execution form, and the motion of the tool specified by this NC data is defined in the automatic programming language and is inserted following NC data in the execution form. When program data generated in the automatic programming language is converted to NC data in the execution form and it is outputted, NC data in the execution form included in program data is outputted as it is, and motion definition statements, which define the motion by NC data in the execution form, following this NC data is the execution form are ignored and are not translated. If display of the tool locus or/and calculation of the working time are requested, motion definition statements following NC data in the execution form are used to display the tool locus or/and calculate the working time.
