PURPOSE: To provide a resource management system constituted of plural servers respectively used by single or plural personal computers(PCs) for performing information storage for simplifying retrieval.

CONSTITUTION: The server used by PC is provided with a means for preserving single or plural profiles by the respective PCs and the means for listing the contents of single or plural resources. Further, since the system is provided with the means for enabling the search of the profiles preserved in all the servers inside the system by the users of the respective PCs, the users of the respective PCs can search the contents of all the resources inside the system.
