PURPOSE: To omit complex processing by completely automatically restoring the currency of a file and the state of a main memory in addition to the contents of a data base.

CONSTITUTION: The titled system is provided with a memory saving means 7, a file currency saving means 8, an output file processing means 9, restoring means 10, 11, and an output file canceling means 12, and when a program generates a commitment, necessary information in the memory and the file currency are saved to a saving/restoration control part 4. When the completion of the immediately preceding report is written and a roll pack is generated, the data/file to be processed by a program is restored based on the contents saved at the time of preceding commitment so that a result equivalent to the restart from the immediately preceding commitment is obtained even if the program is continued as it is. Consequently, commitment control or roll pack control can be easily executed without generating errors.
