Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject apparatus capable of smoothly performing the supply and delivery of carriers to a seedling housing part by providing an empty carrier stock part of a seedling housing part with a lateral transfer conveyor for transferring carriers and placing inlet and outlet ports at a side of the empty carrier stock part.
CONSTITUTION: A carrier 13 emptied by supplying seedlings to a seedling holding table 5 is transferred from the lower end position of a seedling housing part (k) to a position under an empty carrier stock part B with a lateral transfer conveyor 24. An inlet port 53 and an outlet port 54 are formed at the top and the bottom of the stock part B to introduce and deliver the carrier through a side of the stock part.
