Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve working efficiency in addition to reduction of the burden on a worker employed in a selecting/accumulating work.
CONSTITUTION: Articles of different kinds, such as tablewares 2 (2a-2d), are conveyed in a disorderly lined up state and delivered to conveying devices 4a and 4b on the downstream side. The conveying devices 4a and 4b on the downstream side convey the received articles 2 at an increased speed as the articles are shifted to one side by a slope in the direction of width at right angles to a conveyance direction and delivered to a sorter 6 in a state to be lined up in one row. The received articles 2 are selected by kinds by the selector 6.
