Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic sliding door capable of using one sensor as a security sensor and also as a starting sensor.
SOLUTION: A contact section 28a is provided to a position with which a passer-by is in contact on a door surface of a slidable door 4 for opening and shutting an opening through which the passer-by can pass. The sensor 14a is provided upward of the opening. The sensor 14a sets a plurality of detecting areas 24c to 24g within a range of the width of the opening. Among them, the detecting area 24d is placed forward in the vicinity of an indication section 28a.
