PURPOSE: To facilitate processing at the time of abnormality occurrence by registering stop conditions of trace information gathering from an object of abnormal operation analysis and stopping the trace information gathering automatically when the stop conditions are detected.

CONSTITUTION: The trace information gathering stop conditions at the time of the abnormal operation of a terminal device 3, peripheral equipment 4, or processing program 17 to be analyzed are registered previously in a trace information gathering stop condition registration part 11. Then a trace information gathering stop condition detection part 12 monitors whether or not the registered trace information gathering stop conditions are generated at all times and a trace information gathering stop indication part 13 indicates the stop of the trace information gathering to a trace information gathering processing part 14 when the trace information gathering stop conditions are detected. Thus, the information gathering is stopped and then a storage part memory 12 or file 2 for trace information is held in the state wherein the trace information stop conditions are generated. Consequently, trace information which is narrowed down to the abnormal operation can be gathered and the gathering operation for the trace information is automated.
