PURPOSE: To improve usefulness of a synthetic treating apparatus by making automatic preparation of a lot of kinds of products from combinations of different substd. groups of a number of kinds of raw material to be possible by means of a synthetic treating apparatus and by making it possible to prepare simply a program for controlling movement of the synthetic treating apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: All the operations consisting of feeding 11 of a sample to a reactor, reaction treatment 12 of the content in the reactor, pH control 13 of the content, distribution 14 of the liq. and drying treatment 19, purification 16 and furthermore, analysis of the reaction condition, are continuously and automatically performed by means of a control apparatus II to form an aimed compd. A number of basic unit operational procedures are prepd. and stored in such a way that a program 20 performing work control of this automatic synthetic apparatus can easily be prepd. and when a program for synthetic procedure is prepd. on each aimed compd., only the names of the operations for the procedures of the unit are input in accordance with the order of the movements and it is possible to prepare the programs for a number of chem. experiments.
