Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a combination faucet device having a multifarious automatic temperature adjusting characteristic.
CONSTITUTION: A movable valve element 72 for controlling hot/cold water temperatures is positioned by balancing energizing force of a temperature sensing coil spring 80 with energizing force of a bias spring 82. The temperature sensing coil spring is formed of a shape memory alloy of changing a spring constant in accordance with a temperature. The temperature sensing coil spring provides a prescribed temperature characteristic in a certain temperature region and a different characteristic in the other temperature region.
