PURPOSE: To set the sensor input easily, accurately and automatically at a timing corresponding to the transfer operation of a machine.

CONSTITUTION: In the method for switching the test conditions of a cassette transfer simulator comprising a mechanical controller 1, a motor control unit 2 and a sensor control unit 3 connected therewith are connected with one personal computer 6 through a communication unit 4 and an I/O board 5, respectively. The personal computer 6 captures a current shaft position data in a monitor data outputted from the motor control unit 2 through the communication unit 4. Sensor data is transmitted through the I/O board 5 to the sensor control unit 3 thus setting the operation of the sensor.
