PURPOSE: To standardize and automate the test of an electronic computer by connecting plural computers to be tested and having different constitutions to a test electronic computer via a test interface and performing the control of the test states as well as the totalization and analysis of those test results.

CONSTITUTION: A control program is stored in a floppy disk device 5 of a test computer 1 and a console display device 4 is operated for designation of the system constitution and the number of systems. Thus the start information needed for a test program of a computer to be tested is produced with reference to the data on the system constitution stored in a fixed disk device 6. Then the start signal is sent to each computer to be tested via a test interface IF 8. The computer to be tested executes the test program according to the start information and displays the data on the test result on the device 4 via the IF8. A CPU 3 totalizes the test results and analyzes them for display on the device 4 as well as output to a printer 7.
