Abstract:
To provide an automatic transaction device that can prevent suspension of an ATM even when failing to turn a page of a bankbook.SOLUTION: An ATM includes: a bankbook page turning mechanism that turns a prescribed page of a bankbook on which information about a financial transaction is recorded; and a page turning control unit that controls the bankbook page turning mechanism and determines whether it is necessary to issue a new bankbook. When turning the prescribed page of the bankbook by the bankbook page turning mechanism, the page turning control unit calculates a deflection coefficient of the prescribed page, and when the deflection coefficient is smaller than a reference value, performs new bankbook issuance processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
