Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable oil pressure levels to be different at every pitch width of three elements, engine speed, throttle opening, and vehicle speed.
CONSTITUTION: Two sorts of data maps in which oil pressure levels set at every combination of the pitch width of throttle opening with the pitch width of vehicle speed are accumulated in response to distinction between a drive territory and a coast territory in the memory part 13M of an automatic transmission control unit 12. Distinction between a drive territory and a coast territory is discriminated from combination of the engine speed with the throttle opening at every moment, and the corresponding map is selected. Fine pitch width can be set on the engine speed, the throttle opening, and the vehicle speed even against the limited number of data of oil pressure levels.
