Abstract:
To provide an automatic transmission for a vehicle having a shift lever reduced in length thereof to be located in various place different from a current one.
In response to a load in an operating force transmission route detected by a torque sensor 17, assist force is generated by an actuator 18, and the assist force is transmitted to the automatic transmission by combining the assist force with the manual operating force of the shift lever 1. With this structure, even if length of the shift lever 1 is shortened, the shift lever 1 can be operated normally.
