PURPOSE: To make a loom bear a portion of a treating action by performing a fixed treatment with controlling the loom using an automatic treating device through a signal transmitting circuit between the loom and an automatic treating device of the loom.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic treating device 14 is transferred to a position opposing to a fixed loom 12 along pathways 28 or 22 according to a command of a host computer 16. At the position, the automatic treating device 14 is electrically connected to the loom 12 by a connecting device 30 and the automatic treating device 14 performs delivery and receipt of a signal to the loom 12, then performs a fixed treatment with controlling the loom.
