PURPOSE: To furnish automatic welding equipment for a blade chip without requiring any manual aid.

CONSTITUTION: This automatic welding equipment for the blade chip is provided with a blade base plate carrying-in mechanism 110A which circulates and carries by an carrying means a jig provided with plural U-shaped oscillating type clamping members 20 energized with springs to fix and hold the chip 2 on a blade base plate 1 in a press-contacted state in the periphery of a rotary disk 10 on which the base plate mounting surface 12 and the chip mounting surface 16 are formed and mounts the blade base plate 1 on the jig on this jig circulating and carrying line, a chip pusher 120 to supply the chip to the jig while the jig being rotated intermittently, a pusher 130 for clamping operation to thrust the clamping members 20 and clamp the chip, a laser beam irradiation part 1.46 to rotate the jig and weld a press-contacted part between the blade base plate 1 and the chip 2, a pusher 150 for releasing clamping to thrust the clamping members 20 and release clamping of the chip and a blade carrying- out mechanism 110B to carry out the welded blade of the chip on the jig.
