PURPOSE: To enable to heighten the safety of the subject device and simply clean the device by covering the backward travel portion of a conveyor belt, a driving motor, pulleys, a transversely moving mechanism, etc., in the automatically cake-forming device in which a dough such as sponge cake is carried on the endless conveyer belt and simultaneously formed into a short cake, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A dough such as sponge cake is put on a tray 21a continuously traveling from the upstream to the downstream and a cream, etc., is supplied to the dough from a depositor 20. The tray 21a is loaded on a pair of endless conveyer belts 22 and can be transferred in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction orthogonal thereto. A driving pulley 27 for driving the endless conveyer belt 22, a guiding pulley 28 and an upper frame for attaching the pulleys are covered with a cover 30 and only the forward way portion of the conveyer belt 22 is exposed in a slidable state.
