AUTOMOBILE COATING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To decrease the volume of a coating booth while suppressing the interference of door opening/closing devices and front part and rear part door coating robots.
CONSTITUTION: This automobile coating system is constituted to coat the inside plate parts of doors by respectively inserting pin members 24 into glass grooves of the doors 2, 3 of the front part and rear part of a car body 1 of a four-door type and horizontally moving these pin members 24, thereby opening all the doors 2, 3. The system has the front part and rear part door coating robots 6, 8 which have coating nozzles 12 for injecting coating materials at their front ends and coat the inside plate parts of the doors by spraying the coating materials thereto while moving these coating nozzles 12 to the arbitrary positions on the inside surface side of the doors 2, 3 and the door opening/ closing mechanisms which have lifting members 22 erected along the doors 2, 3 so as to liftably support the pin members 24 and support these lifting members 22 in the lower part positions of the doors 2, 3 and horizontally move the doors in accordance with each doors 2, 3.
