Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use for all application points with an impact absorber of the same shape by deforming an impact absorber freely for fitting it to the application points.
CONSTITUTION: An impact absorber 11 provided between a door inner panel 3 and a door trim 5 consists of a foaming element 13 which has divided blocks 17 divided into plural pieces by a cut-out 15 on one surface, and a sheet material provided on the other surface of the foaming element 13. The sheet material is affixed onto either of the door inner panel 3 or the door trim 5.
