To switch the designation of light to light a lamp in a necessary position and to reduce the power consumption of a light source by providing a cornering part light switching mechanism, a turn signal part light switching mechanism and a headlamp part light switching mechanism on a light engine.
In a light engine 1, a cornering part light switching mechanism 6 switches the distribution of light to either one of a left cornering lamp 10L and a right cornering lamp 10L on lateral side surfaces of an automobile since both the lamps are never lighted simultaneously. A turn signal part light switching mechanism 7 performs a switching between front and rear as a left front turn signal lamp 11LF and a left rear turn signal lamp 11RB in the left of the automobile. Further, a headlamp part light switching mechanism 8 mainly performs the switching of light with a foreign kind of lamp when the necessity of a front illuminating lamp such as a headlamp 12 is low. According to this structure, the quantity of light of the light engine 1 can be reduced to reduce the power consumption.
