Abstract:
To display the shape of an operation lever on a display when the hand of a driver approaches the operation lever and to display an operation content when the operation lever is operated.
An automobile operating device is provided with a display 22 having a plurality of displaying parts, an operation lever having a plurality of function switches, an infrared ray sensor 26 for detecting the approaching of the hand of a driver to the operation lever and a display controller 21 for displaying the shape of the operation lever on the displaying part of the display 22 when the approaching of the driver's hand to the operation lever is detected by the approaching detecting sensor 26.
