Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automotive lamp device in which generation of clouding of a lens can securely be prevented, and of which appearance is favorable.
CONSTITUTION: A fine gap S between a light shielding rib 16 and an inner surface of a lens 6 is sealed by a resilient member 19 provided at a tip 16a of the light shielding rib 16, so move of air between adjacent lamp chambers 8, 9 is prevented. Flow of warm air to the lamp chamber on the opposite side to generate clouding there can thus be prevented. Since the resilient member 19 is not transparent, move of light between the adjacent lamp chambers 8, 9 can be completely shielded by only the single piece of the light shielding rib 16. Because only one light shielding rib 16 is used, only a single line is seen through the lens 6 to provide better appearance than in a conventional case using two.
