Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an efficient cooling for a condenser by restricting hot air from entering into a space between an outdoor unit and a water-retentive material in a summer season or by preventing hot air from entering into the space and concurrently by performing a substantial tight sealing against the space between the outdoor unit and the water-retentive material and improving reinforcement against fixing of the water-retentive material.SOLUTION: A water-retentive material 30 is arranged near a windward side of a condenser 3 of an outdoor unit 1 installed at an outdoor area and temperature of sucked air is decreased with latent heat when it is wet with water dripped from above by the water-retentive material 30. The condenser 3 is cooled with air of which temperature is lowered and water flowed down from the water-retentive material 30 is recovered by a water recovery device 13. Water in the water recovery device 13 is circulated to the water retentive material upon driving of a pump 14 through a water supply pipe 15. An upper plate 71 and a lower plate 72 for blocking at least the upper surface and the lower surface of a space between the outdoor unit 1 and a main body 28 of the air cooling device (the water-retentive material 30) are bridged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
