To solve the problem that Tofu is often placed on the palm of the woman's hand and carved with a kitchen knife in general household, however it is difficult to neatly cut the Tofu since carving the Tofu straight down with the kitchen knife is impossible since the women's palm is small and unstable for placing the Tofu thereon and problems of mistakes of dropping the Tofu or scattering of boiling soup in a pot to soil the place and to even cause a scald since the Tofu on the palm of the hand is slid down into the boiling soup in the pot when the Tofu is charged into the pot with the boiling soup.

A plate is prepared which can be rotated at an optional angle with the Tofu placed thereon so as to facilitate cutting of the Tofu with the kitchen knife. The Tofu cut on the plate can be brought directly over the pot and charged therein together with the plate, and thus danger can be avoided that is incidental to scattering of the soup.
