PURPOSE: To set information on a form to be latest one and to speedily and easily execute retrieval/transmission without holding an overlapped content by recording handwriting information and non-handwriting information on a real time basis and display them on the same screen.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of handwriting information input, a tablet 1 acquires a character, a number, a mark and a graphic, all of which are mentioned in records 2, as loci, detect coordinate data on the loci. In the case of non- handwriting information input, the tablet detects coordinate data on a position corresponding to the cursor of a temporary display image. Coordinate data supplied from the tablet 1 through an interface circuit 4, and a bus 5 is supplied to a coprocessor 10 and new coordinate data is stored in a memory 9 through the bus 5 after a prescribed operation is executed in the coprocessor 10. VDP 11 supplies various information for one screen, which are read out of the memory 9 and are supplied through the bus 5 by the control of CPU 6, to a CRT display 12 as signals.
