Title:
AUXILIARY MEMBER FOR RAIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3628906
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear due to contact with cars or the like by forming the body of an auxiliary member for rail, which has a height almost the same as that of the rail, and a protecting plate covering the top surface of the body formed by a different material thereby forming the auxiliary member for rail with the body and the protecting plate.
SOLUTION: The body 10 of an auxiliary member for rail and a member 30 in contact with rail is formed with a plate material made of hard synthetic resin formed body strengthened with fibers such as urethane, epoxy resin or the like which is reinforced with long glass fibers aligned in a certain direction. A protecting plate 14 formed with fibers strengthened hard resin is provided which is formed with the fibers strengthened hard resin from the top portion to the top surface 10a at one side and from the top surface 10a to the top portion at the other side. A notch 12 is formed at the side of a rail 1 at the bottom portion of the body 10, and a contact member 30 is fixed to the top surface of a lower portion 1b of the rail 1 where no dog spike exists in the notch 12. In addition, rubber vibration isolators 32, 16 are fixed to the bottom surface of the body 10 and the contact member 30 respectively. In this way, wear due to contact with cars or the like can be prevented.
