Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lay a pair of comparatively thin signal cables up to a distance place, and to connect a large number of detectors in parallel between the signal cables by releasing electrical energy stored in an electric accumulating circuit to a pair of conductors only for a specified discharge time. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary electric power device has an electric-accumulating circuit 40, for storing a fixed quantity of electrical energy and a detector 32 connected to a pair of conductors 14a, 14b for detecting the specified place of an electric signal. The auxiliary electric power device has discharge circuits 36, 38, releasing electrical energy stored in the electric accumulating circuit 40 to a pair of the conductors 14a, 14b only for a fixed discharge time on the basis of the detected information of the detector 32, when there is the electric signal. Switching elements for the discharge circuits 36, 38, are brought into a conductive state, only for a specified discharge time by a pulse-width control circuit 34 connected to the discharge circuits 36, 38. The electric signal transmits power or information to a unit joined between a pair of the conductors. Accordingly, the electric signal is applied from a control panel, etc.
