To provide an auxiliary top board capable of being stably attached to a top board of furniture while suppressing the working man-hours and working cost, and capable of improving the convenience for a user of the furniture.
The auxiliary top board 20 is fixed to the top board 12 of the furniture 10 by a fixing member 22. The auxiliary top board 20 is firmly fixed to the top board 12 in the front and rear direction by holding a front end face 12a and a locking face 15 of the top board 12 between an orthogonally crossing flat board part 22b and a collar 27 of the fixing member 22. The auxiliary top board 20 has a projecting part 23 projecting downward at the front end. The user can make such motions as pulling the user's body to the auxiliary top board 20 side by gripping the projecting part 23.
