Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary top plate device which can prevent the intrusion of a foreign object into a gap by minimizing the gap formed when an auxiliary top plate is set in a folding position, has a good appearance, and is excellent in operability.SOLUTION: In an auxiliary top plate device 2, an auxiliary top plate 12 is pivoted to a front plate 5 with a horizontal shaft 13 and can be rotated to a substantially horizontal use position and a folding position suspended from the horizontal shaft 13. The front plate 5 is provided with an upper covering piece 19b for covering the upper parts of the horizontal shaft 13 and a pivotal part of the auxiliary top plate 12, and a suspended piece 19c suspended from the tip of the upper covering piece 19b. The auxiliary top plate 12 is provided with a recess 20 into which the suspended piece 19c enters when the auxiliary top plate is set in the use position.
