Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the traveling distance of an auxiliary power type vehicle relative to the input at one time by leaving the auxiliary power even after the input to a propulsion means is removed to leave the speed of the propulsion means after the input is removed.
CONSTITUTION: When the input applied to a hand rim is increased, the relative rotation of the hand rim to a wheel 4 is transmitted to a potentiometer 30 through a lever 31. The rotation of a drive motor 41 is one-stage decelerated by gears G1, G2, and transmitted to a counter shaft 43, and when a dog clutch 46 is turned on, two-stage deceleration is made by gears G3, G4 to transmit the rotation to a drive shall 44, and after the three-stage deceleration by gears G5, G6, the rotation is transmitted to the wheel 4 through a damper member 45. The wheel 4 is driven by the driving force of the input combined with the auxiliary power. The auxiliary power is left even after the input to be applied to the hand rim is removed.
