Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an audio video output with high quality by eliminating the need for time information monitor for audio and video data so as to decrease a processing scale and a circuit scale and immediately correcting out of synchronism of the video and audio data.
SOLUTION: A demultiplexer circuit 2 demultiplexes video information and audio information from received compression data, and an audio time stamp demultiplexer circuit 6 and a video time stamp demultiplexer circuit 3 demultiplex audio data, video data and each time information. A reproduction control circuit 9 calculates a display time of the video data on the basis of a time difference of the video data before and after the demultiplexed video data, obtains a reproduced audio data quantity corresponding to the display time, starts audio reproduction by the reproduced audio data quantity and displays the video data by one time. Then the final end of the reproduced audio data quantity is recognized, and the processing of a display time of the video data after this recognition is controlled repetitively until the end of input of compression data to establish synchronization.
