PURPOSE: To provide a flexible AV system controller providing an inexpensive connection constitution storage means and an AV equipment control means with small program capacity and capable of system operating even an AV system when constitution is revisable freely without complicated revision procedures of information stored in the connection constitution storage means.
CONSTITUTION: Control parts 25 each other provided in respective AV equipments constituting an AV system and the AV equipment control means 20 in the AV system controller 4 are controlled each other through a data bus 5, and by the AV equipment control means 20, a command is issued to the control parts 25 provided in respective AV equipments and a connection execution means 23 according to the stored contents of an operation storage means 26. By the connection execution means 23, the commands from the AV equipment control means 20 or the control parts 25 in the AV equipments are received, and the connection between the AV equipments is executed based on the storage information of the connection constitution storage means 21 corresponding to a system constitution code stored in a system constitution code storage means 22.
