PURPOSE: To enable a standard motor to be used and cut down cost by introducing the air on motor side to the discharge side of an impeller through a gap by the small vane of the impeller, and also, introducing outside air into the cover of the motor through a pipe thereby cooling the motor efficiently.
CONSTITUTION: For this axial blower, a plurality of static wings are fixed to the cylindrical casing 1, and a motor cover 3 is attached to this static wing 2. Moreover, a motor 4 is installed inside the motor cover 3, and an impeller 5 is coupled directly to this shaft. And, by the rotation of the impeller 5, air flows to the other duct 7 through the static wing 2 from one duct 6. In this case, air is pressurized by the small vane 8 annexed to the impeller 5, whereby time air on the side of motor cover is introduced to the discharge side of the impeller 5 through the gap not shown in the figure. Furthermore, the outside air is introduced to motor cover 3 side through a pipe 9 to cool the motor 4. Hereby, the cooling of the motor 4 is performed efficiently, whereby a cheap standard motor can be made usable.
